The most common sleep disorder among adults is the Chronic Insomnia, the difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep, awakening too early in the morning, or nonrestorative sleep. Though exercise has long been assumed to improve sleep, surprisingly little research has been conducted on the effect of exercise on chronic insomnia.
Would exercise late in the day cause insomnia?
Generally regular exercise improves sleep, reducing stress and anxiety. However for some people, exercising within a few hours of bedtime may cause problems to get to sleep. Bear in mind, everyone react differently. For some people, late-day exercise isn’t a problem.
It may require some trial and error to check how it affects the quality of sleep.
